MEDICAL ASSISTANT/FRONT DESK CLERK – This full-time position will work alongside a nurse practitioner and Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Albert Cammon Wellness Center located in St. Rose, LA. This position will be responsible for intake and discharge of patients to include gathering charts and paperwork for the visit, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient demographic information, and handling any clerical and insurance paperwork related to visit. The position will also be responsible for taking patient vitals and assisting the clinical staff with patient flow. The successful Medical Assistant/Front Desk Clerk candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and current CPR certification required. Prior medical assistant or healthcare experience preferred. Computer/typing experience required. OPERATIONS MANAGER - This full-time position oversees patient care flow while redirecting and allocating resources. Acts independently to provide crisis management, interpret policy, make timely decisions that directly impact patient care, ensure timely and effective communication and collaboration among departments, and provide operational oversight throughout the clinic. Determines necessary space, equipment, supplies and support systems to ensure effective functioning of unit/department. Utilizes available reports to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency. Serves as an administrative liaison to patients, families, employees and external customers. The successful Operations Manager candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
